OUR STORY
Homecoming Brew: HubCafe’s Journey Back to Devon
In March 2020, founder Josh Hollands had a vision: to deliver extraordinary coffee and cakes to doorsteps, business parks, and events across Dorset. Just a week later, the world was hit by the pandemic—hardly ideal timing.
But Josh didn’t let that stop him. He grew the business from a single coffee trailer into a multi-location franchise. Our iconic horse-box coffee trailers became a familiar sight at events and fixed locations like a popular dog-walking park, AFCB Bournemouth’s training grounds, and a shopping centre in Salisbury.
When the chance came to expand into the South West at Node Cowork, Josh felt a nostalgic pull back to Devon, where he first trained as a barista. This new venture felt like a homecoming, and he was eager to bring his coffee expertise to this exciting location.
In January 2024, we took a big step forward by acquiring our own coffee roasters, Wimborne Coffee Roasters, giving us full control over the quality and flavour of our coffee.
With a fantastic team in place, we’re excited to grow HubCafe into other coworking spaces in the future.
